I opened this site in 2019 when I was heading onto the job market, and then I just let it sit… But in my attempt to steer away from all social media and most forms of online presence (and move away from smartphones, tablets, etc. except when necessary), I’m re-opening this blog for human updates about me as a person and my work.
Currently on the brain are the nuances of technofascism and its connections to the Enlightenment and scientific revolution, including the legacies of scientific racism and eugenics. I’m working on developing an upper-level lit course on “AI’s Bad Futures” that will dig out from this past.
Maybe someday… book?
